Report: Celtics to meet with Wallace in Michigan 07.02.09 at 11:22 am ET

Comcast SportsNet’s Gary Tanguay has reported Kevin Garnett, Doc Rivers, Danny Ainge, and Wyc Grousbeck are traveling to Michigan to meet with free agent Rasheed Wallace. Ray Allen and Paul Pierce may join them.

Wallace has garnered interest from several championship contending teams since becoming an unrestricted free agent on Wednesday.

    I have 4 seasons tickets and if they do end up signing this fraud and just miserable person in general I won’t be keeping the tickets. By far the biggest bigot and malcontent in the game today. He is in EXACTLY the city that he is best suited for, leave him there!

    Im from detroit and if i recall when sheed signed with detroit the league knew what was going to happen…and they came through with a championship. i dont think detroit could have done it without him the last 5 or so seasons. if the celtics sign rasheed theres no telling what they can do…
