| Report: Moore to sign with Golden State Warriors | 08.31.09 at 2:41 pm ET |
Former Celtic and free agent center Mikki Moore has agreed to a one-year contract with the Golden State Warriors, according to ESPN.com. Marc Stein reported the deal is worth the veteran minimum one-year, $1.3 million. Moore indicated to WEEI.com at the end of last season that he wanted to return to Boston and hoped to work out with the team during the summer. However after struggling to click with the Celtics system and averaging less than two points and two rebounds during the playoffs, he is returning to California where he had played the previous two season with the Sacramento Kings.
