The Boston Celtics 2008 second round draft pick Semih Erden has yet to play in an NBA game, but he has already defeated one of the Los Angeles Lakers. On Saturday he helped Turkey defeat Pau Gasol and the Spanish team in the EuroBasket 2009 Group F qualifying round.
The 6-11 center led the team with six rebounds and scored 11 points, including two free throws that secured Turkey’s 63-60 victory over Spain. He also contributed two rebounds, an alley-oop from Hedo Turkoglu, a block, and a steal in the final five minutes of the back-and-forth match up. Turkey remains undefeated (3-0) and plays Serbia on Monday.
Erden was selected by the Celtics with the 60th pick in the 2008 NBA Draft. He averaged 6.6 points and 4.1 rebounds with Fenerbahce Ulker last season.

Hopefully this guy will take Scalabrine’s spot on the regular season roster. Don’t get me started on how little desire I have to see Scal get any playing time at all next season.

It is excellent that Semih Erden contributed against Spain. He did almost nothing in the first 3 games of the tournament, playing very few minutes as about the 5th big man off the bench. In one game, he played 4 minutes and got 5 fouls. Having seen him play 3 or 4 times in Turkey last year, he’s decent defensively, a big body who challenges shots. He has the offensive game of The Rock of Gibraltar. He took a 15-foot jumper in a game one time and it was Edgar Jones-ugly! Go Turkey!

Hi, fine article, you placed nevertheless if you don’t mind I’d bring few remarks around approaching young women or men. Especially it can be serious when it comes to man woman relationships. The essential matter is your attitude, which should be strong and open. If you have an attitude like that, any soul shouldn’t encounter any troubles that you have speechmaking as pointing. When you offset a conversation, you usually require to require safe wonders that are sure not to cause her any discomfort. Once the conversation gets some momentum, you can ask more individual wonders. A good trick is to memorise some interrogations she made a point of so whenever the conversation slows, you can boot one of these questions.

Here in Turkey, I’m looking forward to seeing Semih Erden’s team, Fenerbahce, play a EuroLeague game against Ricky Rubio’s team, Barcelona Royal, in 3 weeks’ time. Istanbul has a modern, new basketball arena just outside the ancient city walls (5th century). There are signs all over for Efes beer, but no beer is sold in the arena! You can get strong, hot tea, though, for about 75 cents. I read that during the recent tournament in Poland, Semih made a jumpshot–that was probably his first ever!

Hi good post. I imagine these crowns might be structural excessively. Now the genuine pick up arguments are the ones that flatter the woman. At Present one of the lines might just be in all genuine fun to help discover the ice. That is rattling and it can at last lead to finishing in sleep together with her at the end of the night. Heck what man doesn’t want that, but learned what to articulate and how to pull it off can demand a bit of commit. A main pick up line will get you in the door but from there you have to be self-assured sufficient to continue the conversation going.
