October 22, 2011 Tim Thomas opened a ARPWave Clinic in Danvers to help people avoid surgery or recover from surgery pain free. I was the first through the door. My compound fracture of my radius and ulna was 17 days post surgery and it hurt like hell. Two plates and seventeen screws held them together after I went arm first full speed into the dasher at our local rink ( I was tripped ). Who knows why Tim Thomas does what he does? In this case he got me out of pain instantly and helped me recover not in 10-12 months but in 3 1/2 months, pain free. Six weeks after surgery I was back to work as well. The clinic is closed now but I am very well still. He put his money where his results were and started this clinic only to shut it down in 9 months. I can’t thank him enough. He could not thank ARPWave and Denis Thompson enough during his Vezina acceptance speech in Los Vegas after winning the Stanley Cup. I wish him the best now without knowing why he does what he does because he spent his time and money helping people like me who were in tremendous pain and agony. I thank the Jacobs family for reaching out to me and being so kind. Without Tim and ARPWave my recovery would have been very long and very very painful. In my opinion, I have been his biggest save ever and I will be forever grateful even if I don’t understand why Tim does what he does. After all , he is a Hockey goalie, and we all know they are a different bunch all together.
