It’s the Celtics and the Heat, and so it is worth watching. Right now, the Celtics are playing as well as they have this season, going 14-5 since the All-Star break and with six wins in their last seven contests. The Celtics have surged into first in the Atlantic Division with a 29-22 record, while the Heat are comfortably atop the Southeast Division with a 37-13 record that is the second best in the Eastern Conference.
In the only previous meeting between the two teams this year, Miami claimed a 115-107 win on its home court, though the Celtics were without Paul Pierce at the time. Sunday’s contest marks the first of three games between the two teams over the final 15 games of the year.
